The following medicines have been added/updated following the latest Clinical Effectiveness Group (CEG) / Commissioning Resource Group (CRG) meeting:
Etrasimod - Treating moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis in people aged 16 and over (NICE TA956)
Dupilumab - Treating moderate to severe prurigo nodularis (NICE TA955)
Nirmatrelvir plus ritonavir, sotrovimab and tocilizumab - Treating COVID-19 (NICE TA878)
Spironolactone - Idiopathic hyperandrogenism and polycystic ovary syndrome
Quinagolide - Hyperprolactinaemia
Fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant - Treating chronic diabetic macular oedema (NICE TA953) this replaces entries TA613 and TA271
Melatonin - Primary insomnia in those over 55, Sleep problems in patients with dementia associated with Alzheimer’s, Colonis liquid 1mg/ml and 3mg tablets for all indications, including insomnia and jet lag - this replaces entry 'Insomnia in those over 55 (short term use only)
Melatonin - For the Treatment of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) Sleep Behaviour Disorder (RBD) in Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia, Adults with learning disabilities, Sleep disturbance in adults with ADHD, Sleep disorders in the blind, Adults with complex neurodevelopmental disorders that the specialist considers eligible - this replaces entry 'For the Treatment of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) Sleep Behaviour Disorder (RBD) in Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia'
